Next on the itinerary...

(View from the airport - just as we were arriving last year)

I'll be sure to provide an update later after I come back from my next destination - El Salvador. Bethel is sending a team of about 21 people as a follow-up to last year's trip, so please lift us up to the Lord. ^_^

If you would like to pray for us, the areas we would appreciate your help in are:

1. Safe travel of both team members and luggage/equipment. 2. Healthy minds and bodies as we present the Gospel to the people of El Salvador. And 3. That we show our genuine love for the Lord to the Salvadorians through our words and actions, loving and serving as one team, one body.

We will be assisting a local church, doing several evangelistic outreach projects.

Evildoers beware!

A superhero's work is never done. So there I was, standing ever watchful over Harrer Park on Sunday, July 10th, waiting for the smallest glimpse of danger. Should any villains decide to cross my path, they would be getting a world full of pain from my trusty weapon of choice; you guessed it - the Black Bat of Death!

Note: Also in the picture is Iron Chef, my loyal sidekick.
He's not wearing his costume because during the day
he is simply mild-mannered Christopher.

My hero suit even comes with a full array of tools and utilities,
like these poisonous, ninja-throwing softballs:

No task is too great for Señor Churro - seeker of justice and defender of all things sugary!

I also do public book signings and private functions.
For more info, please contact my secretary, Jenny, at 867-5309. =)

Live in peace fine citizens!

And so it begins... yet again. =)

The sheer madness of it all is enough to fill the
hugest space. "How huge?" you say? "Is it huge like the inside of a giant Spiderman piñata?"

It sho' 'nuff is!

I figured what better way to start this webblog journey than to showoff what any good uncle would... candid pictures of his nephew. *smile* You see, that's Angel at his 3-year birthday party, hanging out with your friendly, neighborhood webcrawler (Spidey's his favorite hero, by the way).

Just look at that sly look on his face... what could he be thinking?

I know!

He's lookin' to put the hurt on Spidey and break out the goodies inside...

And then, when it's all over, it's ti
me to enjoy the spoils... Mmm, Spiderman cake!

It was so good, too...

Too bad I didn't get a piece... =( But it's all good! It was fun playing with him. He didn't recognize me at first, but he quickly warmed up to me. I wonder if he remembers me singing him to sleep... hmm, just maybe - I've read studies on that stuff. =)

And so, to finish it all off, here's Mr. García waving "Hi Apá," saying "We miss you!" next to Big Momma. What a fun day! The first of many, I pray. =)

This one's for you, Adrian.
